Hey there, my peeps!!!
I started a new hobby/game on the David Cook fansite:

Welcome fellow Goddess Queens of the Universe!!! This Blog was created to celebrate a culmination of information. Everything from my "Editor-N-Chief" commentary, to "Poetry for the Masses". There's just one more thing to say...Enjoy.
I started a new hobby/game on the David Cook fansite:

Well, another year has passed without me updating my Blog. I was busy becomming single again, and getting back to date wieght:) I truly intend to do my best writting in my Blog today. I hope you enjoy:)
The Phili Trip of Frida love: It all began when my sister convinced me to drive to Phili for the Frida exhibit. It was the beginning of the greatest Sumer EVER!!!
I got to see all of the biggest Summer Blockbuster movies.

I got to go to my favorite place in the world... New York... the only man I've ever loved:p
Whilst in NYC, my sister and I spent the Summer of '08 going to way off Broadway preformances starring our new favorite up and comming actress, Isis King. Remember the name. She is wonderful:)
And, what would New York be without checking out the play of New York's newest resident actor, Daniel Radcliffe. My sister and I decided to check out his performance in Equus on (of all days) September 11th. Richard Griffith's (in his portrayal of Dr. Martin Dysart) stole the show. Griffith's was magnificent!!! Daniel Radcliffe plays the role of Alan Strang: a troubled youth whose reach for Devine faith dangerously melds with his mental struggle with beastiality leading him to blind a stable full of horses. In the beginning Radcliffe started off so opaquely seasoned and strong that I thought he would carry the focus of the play throughout. I however was wrong. In the center of the play, Radcliffe quickly lost focus, and the closer he came to the scenes addressing Alan's sexuality, the more he came off as a nervous, overworked teenager. In a poinient scene with Equus (the object of Alan's obsession *magnificently portrayed with artistic perfection by Lorenzo Pisoni*), there was a malfunction of a harness, to which Griffiths (a seasoned stage and screen actor) remained in character whilst Radcliffe addressed the other actor onstage to help him with the malfunctioning meconism. That, for me, was unexcusable. It would have completely ruined my voluntary suspension of disbelief if Griffiths hadn't stayed true to the character he portrayed. After the scenes that required nudity to further the story were over, Radcliffe then seemed to calm and begin to poise himself again as a professional actor. By such time it felt like it was too little too late. I came to the play to see Strang as portrayed by Radcliffe, not Daniel as portrayed by himself. I wanted Alan Strang to have developed a soothing mechanism of stroking the palm of his hand on soft surfaces. Radcliffe began to explore this method of soothing in his scenes with Equus, but it was never developed for the stressful times Alan was forced to open up in the theraphy sessions. It would have clearly added an element of connection with the audience by having Alan habitually stroke his arm or the edge of his chair to have us remember a feeling of intimacy and safety Alan felt when with Equus. I was amazed and touched by the sense of fear Alan eminated in the beginning of the play, (for the frightening act of blinding the stable horses) and I wanted to stay with that feeling of fearing Strang for a longer period of time. Another disapointment for me.
Delightfully, Anna Camp (Jill Mason) seems like the type of actress who is hungry for her craft, and therefore stays true to her character further drawing you into the play. She moves gracefully onstage, and never goes out of character even when the lights go down and the scene is over. This is magnificent, for she clearly knew that though the scene isn't over when the lights go down, but when the actors are off the stage. If she didn't stay in character and ran off of the stage in a blind fury (the way Radcliffe did after Jill and Alan's twisted love scene) the illusion would be ruined. Happily this is not the case with Anna. She is clearly a talented stage actress. Radcliffe must develop his craft ALOT more before setting another toe onstage, however I do believe him to be a brilliant actor on the big screen. Trouble is, on the stage, there is no such thing as take two.

Editor-N-Chief :)Thaaat’s riiiiiight!!! I’m baaack!!! And, after my long break, do I have news for you fellow Goddess Queens of the Universe. I have Movies-A-Go-Go, a new Poetry for the Masses, a celebrity heads-up spotlight, and much, much, more. So choke-down that last Halloween candy-corn, stop your Madonna-Momma-Drama (unless you run into Wilmer, because we could all use a thousand dollars in cash-money), and if you are currently holding a tape recorder given to you by a man named Jigsaw, don’t push play!!! Oh, one more thing… enjoy :)

Celebrity Heads-Up Spotlight :)
Prison Break star Wentworth Miller is eyeing a second career as a writer after completing his first screenplay. The heart-throb, who plays tattooed jailbird Michael Scofield in the hit show “Prison Break”, has used his time off from the program to get busy at his PC. He says, "It's a love story with a (Alfred) Hitchcock twist. A cross between The Stepfather, Shadow Of a Doubt and Dracula mythology. Whatever he’s writing, it shows his versatility, and proves that he’s not just another “pretty face”.

Movies-A-Go-Go :)
Ghostrider, Motorcycle… HERO!!!
For all of those Spidey-fans who cannot wait for May of 2007 for their comic-book-hero-movie-fix, have I got the movie for you. Ghostrider starring Nicolas Cage is sure to wet your comic-book whistle, even if you are not a comic-geek like lil-ol-me :)
Don’t believe me? Check it out yourself by clicking on the following link:

According to BBC News Online, Bruce Willis is to feature in the fourth Die Hard film next year. The Hollywood A-Lister will return as the tough New York detective John Mc Clane in the movie, which is entitled "Live Free or Die Hard." It's set to be released on the 29th of June 2007, where it should feature as a cool flick for the Independence Day weekend!!! The original film in the Die Hard franchise was released in 1988 and established the 51 year old Willis as the major box office star he is :)

Poetry for the Masses
“Promotion” –by E. Perez
This is the time that rings happiness into my soul.
My mind, a swimming sea of joy.
The day began for me instilling strength making me bold.
I felt as if I conquered Troy!
For four long years, I paid my dues.
I did not think this day would come,
When I’d receive this gratitude.
The morning came.
Out came the sun.
The ringing harmony of my epervescent heart,
It touched me, and now holds me tight.
The time has come; my boss looked me in the eye and called me smart.
I feel as if I’ve taken flight.
Before, I was so overlooked.
As I, within the shadows; pushed.
They didn’t care how hard I worked.
All my ideas were quickly shushed.
It was a constant struggle lost,
As I within their darkness kept.
I wouldn’t frown at any cost,
Yet deep within, my soul… I wept.
With this new job, I got away.
And, now my life is filled with song.
I welcome blissfully this day.
The time has come, when I belong.

No… not Tiffany:
One Simon Mall, in Somewhere New Jersey, had its 20th birthday bash. I was simply shocked when (on my “Devil Wears Prada-esk” vacation to the Big Apple) lil-ol-me and my Mom (pictured above) decided to do a little vacation shopping. We literally fell upon the party, and were glad we did. There were free cookies, funny clowns, and prizes galore. We stayed to try our luck on a car giveaway they were having at 7PM, and we were glad we did, because we received a free concert from none other than Deborah Gibson. For those Goddess Queens who aren’t in tune with the 80’s teen queen, check out her official website and feel free to get “Lost In Her Eyes”:

Naked Cowboys on Planet Hollywood :)
The second celebrity sighting of my Big Apple Vacay happened, in the heart of Manhattan, Times Square. My boyfriend and I were on our way to lunch at Planet Hollywood when we had a run in with Time Square’s most famous cowpoke… “The Naked Cowboy”. This guitar toting, underwear clad cowboy is a marketing dream. (Check out his website here: http://www.nakedcowboy.com/index.html) After our quick semi-celeb run-in. Lil-ol-me and my papi-chulo had a great time at the always fantastic, and always fun Planet Hollywood. The ambiance is out of this world for any and all Goddess Queens who absolutely love the movies, and love being treated like a star. After dinner, one simply must check out all the movie memorabilia and try your hands in the celebrity handprints. It will make you feel like a star!!!
The King of the Minskoff :)
I have seen many Broadway musicals in my time, and I can tell you after seeing “The Lion King” at the Minskoff Theatre, no one does it quite like Disney. From the elaborate/simplicity of the sets, to the complex/creativity of the costumes, this musical is pure Disney gold. Elton John’s brilliant music shines in this portrayal of the Disney classic. The choreography is superb to say the least, and is enjoyable for both men and women/young and old. If you get the chance, check it out:

All my Mets fans:
Celebrity sighting number three happened at none other than Shea Stadium. I was doing what the Romans (or in this case New Yorkers) do, and taking in a baseball game in good old NYC. Just as we were settling into our seats behind home plate, who should appear just beyond the mesh netting but one Susan Lucci. For those Goddess Queens/God Kings of the Universe who don’t completely L-O-V-E “All My Children”… shame on you. Even if you aren’t a big fan of daytime soaps, Susan is the type of diva this blog is all about. Goddess Queens/God Kings of the Universe Unite!!! Anywho… as I was about to bow to a Goddess of Goddesses I called out her name, and she was gracious enough to smile, wave, and pose for a pic. Truly gracious:) (Check out her site:

Double Header to Remember :)
After the La-Lucci sighting, I still had two games to watch, and boy-howdy were they fun!!! Let us not even mention the first “warm-up” loss, but let’s definitely mention that great comeback!!! David Wright has the right stuff, but so do the rest of the Star-Studded Mets. They kicked (my hometown) Marlin booty. And, I’m less than sorry to say, I’m glad for them. After you see the Mets in action live and in person there is no doubt that NY sure knows its baseball. Check out clips of Mr. Mets favorite team:

TV Heads-Up:Do you know where Andre is? Did you remember your chiffon? Do you know what the heck I’m talking about? Well, for those Goddess Queens who do, it’s that time yet again. Yep, you guessed it. Another season of Bravo’s Project Runway is getting underway July 12 at 10 PM (9 central). Did you miss last season? Well now it’s time to get a jump on your fashion-fights. Fashion not your thing? Then check out the Fox favorite “So You Think You Can Dance”, and boogie-oogy-oogy ‘til you just can’t boogie no more. It’s something to watch on Fox until “Prison Break” returns August 21st.

Books/Movies-A-Go-Go :)
The first website to surf for is the “be-all-end-all” of all websites. That is the main reason it has appeared previously in this blog. That site… of course, is Liquidgeneration.com. Why Liquidgeneration? If you are a pop-culture, junkie with a taste for college-antics, then Liquidgeneration is for you. They poke fun of everything from GW to Paris Hilton. I also love the site because of their quizzes, games, cartoons, movie clips, and music suggestions. If you have ever felt out of the loop, this is the one site you can visit to get right back in the loop. That’s why Liquidgeneration gets the number one spot for the best website to surf for. (R) (PS-NOT KID FRIENDLY!!!) :)
A close second on our list is the infamous HomestarRunner.com. This is chock filled with brainy, and zany characters (my favorite being Strong Bad). The entire site is interactive, and half the fun is seeing what surprises you can uncover on the site. The site is definitely worth your while. And, if you don’t like it you always have the option to e-mail Strong Bad and tell him exactly how you feel. Just don’t expect him to be too nice to you if you do. (PG-13)
Third on our list of super-cool websites is the extremely kid-friendly Simpsons.com. Another interactive site, this one allows you to explore the actual hometown of that loveable Fox family… namely The Simpsons. Have a cold one with Barney, play Lisa’s Sax-a-ma-phone, and check out Smithers strange screensaver!!! This website is a great way to catch up on the pop culture phenomenon or continue your love of the cartoon classic. (PG-13)
The forth website I think is worth surfing for is the site that is kid friendly to kids of all ages. At least, it has been since the 50’s. Of course I’m speaking of that toon-filled website Looney Tunes.com. Also interactive, this site gives us free Looney Tune cartoon classics, as well as create-a-cards, games, and merchandise to wear on your next summer outing to Great Adventure. At least this way you won’t spend a fortune buying the stuff in the theme park. (G) :)
Editor’s Plea :x
I regret to say that I have a plea for all of my Fellow Goddess Queens of the Universe. I am a Big-Brother junkie. Yes, I admit my corny love-affair started last summer when there was nothing else on TV. It started innocently enough. I looked at my remote control, and there it was… the number 2. No, lil-ol-you, I told myself. Don’t do it. CBS is strictly for the geriatric crowd, and others who are incapable of changing the channel due to incarceration or near death. But, there that number two was starring at me… so I changed the channel. There it was. Big Brother was on, and I was hooked. I totally started to idolize one, and one member of the Big Brother cast only (okay Howie and Janelle were a close second). But, I was saddened by the story of the coolest guy on the show. The one, the only… the king. King Kaysar!!! He lost the competition last year because some jerk who will remain nameless (rhymes with Bennifer) swore on her stinky life that she wouldn’t vote him off the show if he let her win. Then she totally backstabbed him, and one of her friends won all the money. BOO and/or HISS. But, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. This year the viewing audience can vote Kaysar back into the house to give him another chance to win. Yippee and Hurray!!! So please click on the link below and vote your butts off. PS-At least it will give us all a hottie to look at all summer. ;)
She wakes in the morning and she’s got to go.
